The pages are sturdy and thick so will withstand loads of pulling and prodding.
The felt flaps are stiff enough to stand up on their own but soft enough for a small child to grasp without bending unlike the paper versions.
The flaps flip back up on their own, adding to the fun of the book. My daughter loved lift the flap books when she was younger so I’m overjoyed to introduce the next generation to the joys of books and reading, kids are never too young to learn that books can be a special part of their life.
My grandson loves seeing what behind each flap and is fascinated by the pictures so it was worth every penny and was a great price considering the quality.
Hope you found my review helpful.

Very good quality, lovely simple story. As always, my daughter loves the flaps. By the way, I would say the book could easily entertain a baby as young as 5-6 months and possibly as old as 2 depending how much they are read to. My daughter has loved books from this series since she was about 5-6 months old and still greatly enjoys them at 13 months.

He loves it, knows the characters and can pull down the flaps without damaging them (unlike traditional cardboard flaps).
