Purchased this webcam so as to have a second camera for live art demonstrations and wanted a widescreen to show the entire work area.
Pros: When i unpacked it from the box i was amazed how sturdy it felt. A good well built quality product and was easy to install and use. It uses the Windows HD USB camera driver.

Cons: The suggested viewer to use was not that good and doesn't come with any settings to make adjustments to the picture.
Update: I have been using this webcam on different programmes and the Mic seems to be muffled, i have been told it sounds like i have a sock over the mic.

It worked straight out of the box, flawlessly. Plug in to a laptop and it shows up as a video input on your software of choice. The demo clip was recorded on Quicktime Player on my 2013 Macbook Pro, with medium-low light and it handles it perfectly well. It gave better results than the built-in webcam (esp. in low light) but not as good results as my Google Pixel 3a setup on the same tripod. Oh, did I mention it has a tripod mount screw-thread? It totally has a tripod mount! That's a key feature for me.

It's not going to win any awards for picture quality and there's a lot of fish-eye effect around the edges so it can get a wide field of view into a phone-size camera lens, but you will not be able to do any better than this in this price bracket. It's more than good enough for decent looking Zoom calls or if you're streaming and want your face in the corner.

I'm sure with a bit more lighting and playing around with it a little I'll be able to get a better picture from it in time, but this is more than good enough to capture my drum progression and talk to people on vid chat.

A final personal note - Being in audio I don't use webcam mics as I've always got something better to use, so I haven't tested it as part of this review. Also, while it's not relevant to my use case (I plug it in when needed only), they thoughtfully included a lens privacy cover which looks hilariously like a miniature toilet seat, so if you don't need it and you know a kid with a doll's house, you've got a unique gift idea!

I took part in the Feedback survey for this product. They basically sent it FOC to test it out. So here's my Findings...

For £30. It's okay. if you're purely looking for something fro Zoom/Skype then this will do the Job quite well. Nothing spectacular. But adequate.

Would I recommend this for Live streaming on Facebook, YouTube etc. NOPE. Not a chance. The quality is just not there for it. For a start, the Lense is what I'd call a frog-eye lens. It puts you in focus, but then everything behind you and to the side of you just looks weird. (Google Frog Eye Lens Pics).

The Output, well the Video is VERY Overexposed. Almost white out. Looks like I've not seen the Sun for a VERY long Time. And just to point out, I tested in my Studio and I am a YouTuber. So I have Awesome Lighting. Now some Software will allow you to mess about with the Camera Settings. However, a lot of Streaming Software won't. So if you have to rely on the default settings, then it's not great. For 1080, again... my onboard Laptop Camera is miles better. Clearer picture, Better Colour. The Frame Rate of this item is also not great. I can't actually find what the Frame Rate of this is, but my onboard shoots at 30fps and I get a very slight blur when sharing cocktails or moving quickly. With this webcam, I get a massive blur. So i'd say it'd even struggle to be a 24fps.

Audio.. well again. Perfectly adequate for Skype, Zoom etc. but if you want something that will live on, on your youTube or Facebook... then again, you would need a better r Audio Setup.

In Summary...
I thought it would save me money as I was looking at the Logitech C920. But there is absolutely no comparison. And I've even gone one better now and ordered the new Logitech Streamcam. HOWEVER... to point out. My uses are for Live Streaming to YouTube and Facebook. If I didn't have a Camera on my Laptop and I purely needed something for Skype/Zoom, then this would do the job.

Just like everyone in the current situation, I bought this cam to use with Zoom/Teams/Skype meetings and also for a bit of streaming. I wanted something to replace the built-in camera on my laptop.

So far I'm happy with the quality if the image that the webcam produces. The image appears crisp and clean. Using it with the built-in camera app on my laptop, it was able to do face recognition with no delays in refocusing. There is a big difference in quality between this cam and the built-in cam. This truly is plug n play, no drivers to install or software needed. It works perfectly fine with the software already installed that uses webcams.

I haven't tested the mic on it as the way how I have my stuff setup, it don't really need to use the mic. Maybe I will get around to testing it someday and then update this review.

The only 2 things that I didn't like, well one's more of a nuisance than an issue. The first is that the privacy shutter has to be stuck on, which wasn't an issue for me, but thought it would have come already attached as shown in the images. Secondly, although the image produced is truly clear, the lighting has to be right. There is no low light compensation, which would be really great. As even on the brightest day, natural light coming into my flat isn't much due to how it's situated, plus it also doesn't help when there is a big tree outside the window.

Really impressed with the build quality, looks the part, easy plug-and-play installation. AND YET, come to use it in a real video conference and the audio is non-existent. Comments like "sound like you're underwater, in a box, it's totally muffled, just can't hear you!" Even tried to combine the camera video with my laptop's built-in mic but no, that audio gets totally ruined too. Had to remove the camera and re-join several video conferences using the laptop camera and audio. Eventually have stopped trying as it became embarrassing. May be some sort of compatibility issue but there's nothing unusual about my laptop setup. Has to go back.
